I was invited by my good friend from Villavicencio to visit her school, where she works as a teacher. It is Teachers’ Day, a day when teachers are put in the spotlight and honored by the entire school. This special day is all about appreciation for their dedication and commitment.

During the festivities, the classes are given a joint assignment. This year, the students had to design and make a dress from recycled materials. It was fantastic to see how creatively and enthusiastically the students got to work.

The day started with the national anthem, which gave the celebration an extra special touch. It was a special experience to experience all this and to see how the teachers were celebrated with so much love and respect.
